The Palyanitsya Association was created quite recently after the outbreak of the war by a group of people who do care about justice and who want to help Ukraine and its people to fight back the aggression. We want to save lives and health of people – just ordinary citizens and servicemen – who heroically and selflessly stood up to fight the monster and protect their own country, their neighbours and other people.
We do believe that all good people of the world should combine their efforts in order to fight the evil of Russia in this barbaric, unfair and vile war. Everyone may make its contribution in one or another form, let it be fighting shoulder to shoulder with Ukrainians or humanitarian and technical aid to Ukraine and its people.
The Palyanitsya Association is raising funds to provide aid to Ukraine in various forms and for various purposes. The Association shall use the raised funds to purchase and supply to Ukrainian people, organizations, foundations, hospitals, medical service units of Armed Forces, volunteers various needed goods and products.
Speaking practically, the Association is going to raise the funds and purchase and supply to various entities in Ukraine so needed products of various nature. In order, to make such deliveries in the most effective way, the Association keeps close contacts with state and local authorities in Ukraine which are coordinating those activities, i.e., gathering information about the most needed goods and products, preparing consolidated lists of such goods and products, coordinating logistic matters on the territory of Ukraine, distributing the received goods and products.
On certain separate occasions we are going to publish reports about how the funds raised have been used with providing our donors to the maximum possible extent with all relative information, confirmations and evidences.
Once the Association is not seeing a possibility to be most useful in the efforts to aid Ukraine – what may happen once the war ends – and we still have unutilized funds at our accounts, such funds shall be transferred to special account opened by the National Bank of Ukraine to raise funds for humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians or, as the case may be, to any other state entity in Ukraine which may be created to finance the restoring of the civil after-war life in Ukraine.
NBU (National Bank of Ukraine) Opens Fundraising Account for Humanitarian Assistance to Ukrainians Affected by Russia’s Aggression
“Russian aggression deprived thousands of Ukrainians of their home, money, clothes, food, and other basic things. However, Ukraine and the rest of the world would not leave them alone with their grief. Financial support keeps coming both from the citizens of our country and from abroad. To streamline the inflows of funds as humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the war, the NBU has opened an account for the Ministry of Social Policy to accumulate charitable contributions for social needs in wartime. ” - said the NBU Governor Kyrylo Shevchenko.
